Golf Rules

  • The objective is to complete each hole with the lowest number of throws into the basket
  • Each tee sign will show the length and par of the hole
  • Players must start the hole from the Astroturf tee mat
  • Subsequent shots must be played from where the ball stops
  • If playing in a group, players kick in turn when ready to do so
  • Whoever gets the lowest score on a hole will play first on the next hole
  • If a player’s ball hits an opponent’s, then the opponent’s ball is replaced in its original position. Players can request an opponent to mark and move their ball if it is in the way
  • If the ball is kicked out of bounds it will incur a one-shot penalty
  • If the ball comes to rest in an unplayable position, then it can be moved no nearer the hole incurring a one-shot penalty
  • Course obstacles cannot be moved
  • The maximum score on any hole is 10

OUT OF BOUNDS

  • The boundary of the course is deemed to be the fencing around its perimeter White posts also denote Out of Bounds.

IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS

  • All pop-up sprinkler heads, disc golf baskets or footgolf greens are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows:

a) If the ball lies on the putting green or foot golf green it may be lifted and placed not nearer the hole at the nearest point of which intervention by the obstruction is avoided.

b) If the ball lies off the putting green (but not in a penaly area) and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped as in clause (a) above.

  • All man-made paths and their sides, irrigation and manhole covers are deemed to be immovable obstructions.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR

  • Newly planted trees marked with stakes or fitted with rabbit guards, when interfering with the player’s stance or the area of intended swing, shall be deemed to be interfered with by Ground Under Repair and the player MUST take relief.
  • Heavy vehicle tyre marks through the green are Ground Under Repair.

COURSE ETIQUETTE

  • All green fees must be paid before play commences.
  • All divots must be replaced and pitch marks repaired.
  • Trolleys and golf bags should not be taken onto tees or greens.
  • Boundary fences must not be crossed to retrieve golf balls.
  • The maximum number of players allowed in one match or group
    is four.
  • Players are asked to have consideration for other golfers whilst playing on the course.
  • Any match losing a clear hole for any reason must invite the following match to play through at the first opportunity.

  • Maximum of 4 players for Golf
  • Maximum of 4 players for Foot Golf
  • Maximum of 5 players for Disc Golf
  • Please wait for the group in front to complete the hole before playing
    your shot into the green
  • Please be mindful that this is a family facility, and your language and
    behaviour must be appropriate
