Disc Golf Rules

  • Ensure that it is clear ahead of you and safe to throw.
  • The objective is to complete each hole in the fewest number of throws.
  • The hole is complete when the disc comes to rest in either the chains or the basket of the target.
  • Each tee sign will show the length and par of the hole.
  • Players must start the hole from the Astroturf tee mat.
  • Subsequent throws must be taken from where the previous throw came to rest.
  • If playing in a group, players throw in turn when ready to do so, usually with the player furthest from the target throwing first.
  • Whoever gets the lowest score on a hole will play first on the next hole.
  • If the disc lands out of bounds it will incur a one throw penalty.
  • If the discs is caught in a tree the “lie” is taken directly below the disc.
  • Course obstacles cannot be moved.
  • The maximum score on any hole is 10.

  • All golf greens are out of bounds. Play with 1m relief from where the disc was last inbounds with 1 throw penalty.
  • Hole 4 is an island green defined by the path edges closest to the basket. A disc that does not land on the island is deemed to be in a hazard. Players continue from where their disc came to rest with a 1 throw penalty.
  • Hole 7 Any disc that comes to rest beyond the staked line on the right hand side of the fairway is deemed to be “Out of Bounds”. Play with 1m relief from where the disc was last inbounds with 1 throw penalty.
  • NOTE – ALL GOLF GREENS ARE OUT OF BOUNDS.

  • Please be mindful that this is a family facility, and your language and
